"I can't watch this."  Nancy stood up from the kitchen table and walked around to face her friend Helen, turning her back on their guy friends in front of the TV in the other half of the apartment.

"It's all for you, babe," Helen giggled.  "I'm just sharing the wealth."

"Won't that... hurt them or something?" Nancy asked helplessly, waving at the boys on the couch.  Each of them had a lollipop from a bowl on the end table, and while completely absorbed in the ongoing football game each one of them was delicately but relentlessly licking the candy over and over using the exact center of his tongue.

Helen grinned at them and waved a hand airily.  "If it starts to hurt they'll stop.  For now.  But it's going to become a habit.  Especially if I keep those lollipops available.  They'll just, gradually, unconsciously, build up those muscles.  And that just might come in handy for other things."  She smirked.

Nancy put her hands over her eyes, then peeked between her fingers at her boyfriend Jeff.  She blushed and looked away.

"You're welcome," Helen smirked.

Nancy paced tightly around the kitchen, picking up and setting down every object on the counter, fiddling with things.  "God, I… I even watched you *do* it and I have no idea how you did that to them.  I heard the things you said and I saw them react to them, but… I just… I don't know what you *did*."

Laughing openly, Helen took a while to control herself enough to reply, "I know."

"What's so funny?"

"Look at your hands, Nancy."

"My hands?  I--" Nancy put her hands out in front of her, pulling the lollipop away from her own tongue… and blushed to the roots of her hair when she realized that she was holding one.

"Practice makes perfect…"
